Honestly I think police shouldn't be able to carry guns if law abiding citizens can't. Why do police need them if the citizens don't? Do the police fight a force that isn't within the public? Police carry a gun to protect them from criminals. Criminals that live among everyone. It makes no sense to me. If police can carry, then every law abiding citizen should be able to.

I finish school in two years, then I'm out for good. I will never understand how in the hell NY gets away with this blatantly unconstitutional bullshit. For CCW in NYC, there is all this nonsense about having to prove that your profession makes this a necessity, etc. What the FUCK does that have to do with the 2nd Amendment? If you look at a list of states with the highest per capita gun violence, three of the top five are New York, Chicago, California - States w the strictest anti-gun laws.

I live in Brooklyn and crime is on the rise right before my eyes. Ever since mikey declared guns as public enemy no. 1, more and more criminals showed up. I've had family robbed at gunpoint, and I cannot have a gun legally. Even if I could cough up the $434 it takes to apply, I could still get rejected for the most bullshit reasons after months of waiting and get no refunds. If I do get it, then I have to buy the heavily taxed guns and ammo from an FFL dealer. And then the assault weapons ban...
