THIS VIDEO IS BORING

I decided to record an usual vehicle patrol through an apartment complex parking lot. I was using mode 1 wig wag (look in the mirror), right and left alley lights to see on either side of the vehicle (the camera would pick up pitch black otherwise), the Whelen Talon dual dash light, and of course the spotlight. I was blindly aiming the camera, instead focusing on driving and checking the cars with my own eyes. All was clear, as usual.

  • Hey Fernando, it's Tuckner. I worked for you back in 05 / 06. Great company, and a great boss. Loved working with you man. Nostalgic to see these youtube videos.

  • @mktuckner I'm not him but I'll tell him you commented on here. He tells me about you sometimes. I've been working at NRP since 04.

  • Is this North Region Patrol in San Marcos? And is that a scanner unit you are listening to or Radio Reference on the Laptop?

  • @ENIGMA1234 We are based out of San Marcos but do all surrounding areas. It is a scanner. We use it for higher presence by the use of audio, which is even more effective than the lights. It's also helpful when we hear one of our client's addresses over it. For personal communication through the company, we use Nextels, which is not uncommon.

  • @drunkpolice We have a white car with that setup but instead of strobes in the brakes it has white cudas on top of both sides of the traffic stick. (white cudas are very nice). He may put whellen LED strobes in the vehicle lights in the future.

  • @OnBakePlatinum This car you should remove the Vector Light, and add a Traffic Stick in the back, interior, with brake Strobes. That would be a kick ass security P71. Slicktop.

  • @drunkpolice Look at my other video called premium services. It shows what lighting configuration I use (which is backwards facing amber). Our other car has a Fedsig Radian which is very cool. We have another car with an LED internal lighting set up and a different car with a code 3 MX7000.

  • Why do you always turn on your lights when you enter your properties? Would be better if you only activated the rear lights, and you should get an LED Bar, like Whelen Liberty, It'll make your car look more intimidating and more universal.

  • honestly you should carry a springfield or kimber 1911 .45

  • Courtesy patrol service consists of patrolling the contracted property X amount of times (according to the contract) at random times. Patrolling means checking the parked cars for any theft or vandalism, etc, finding problems, responding to called-in noise complaints, reporting out lights, etc. Showing that you are there with a light bar is optional (most companies do not). Then, after all the patrols are complete for that shift, the officer (or dispatch) writes a report for the client.
