Informal Cobra 29 LX LE & 2000 GTL Radio Checks!

I just received my custom built Cobra 29 LE LX 50th Anniversary RFX Edition CB Radio. The radio is now set up. It was time to do some final tuning. Went in the truck and drove several miles away from the home "20". Now it was time to compare the new 29 LX LE with RFX-75 against the Cobra 2000 GTL that is barefoot. The 29 is set up for AM and 2000 SSB. The 29 LX LE is my strongest & loudest radio in the collection of Cobra's. I like to do videos like these to study performance. From here, I can see what adjustments may be needed. The echo effect was cut back a hair on the second changeover. @MrJackson939 Well local I am on 11, 19, & 22 (AM). DX 28 (AM) & 38 (LSB). I also scan the the band but when conditions are in 28 is my first visit.

@m0ogy Very nice radio for sure! The receive was upgraded and it has some nice ears. The RFX-75 gives it about 100+ whiskies! Country Girl helps as much as possible. nice videos buddy....what channel do you usually run? im from dover-foxcroft and usually just run channel 19 on my old uniden with a wilson 2000 trucker center loaded antenna as my mobile rig

Well i see my old home state has some snow. 84 degrees here today, so i guess I don't miss the snow that much! I think that new Cobra is a sweet radio!
