I WRITE: http://www.jaimiemet.blogspot.com
I TWEET: http://www.twitter.com/jaimieface

This is a detailed explanation of how to ombre your hair yourself. Yes, I know it's a lot of talking, but I thought all of the talking was necessary in order to thoroughly explain the technique. I don't want anyone to mess up because people think I talk too much :).

I hope this video is helpful!

all the links I said I'd list:

this website actually has a slide show of different ombre techniques! yay:

the color level system (very important!):

sally's beauty supply (at the top of the page there is a store locator link that can tell you if there is a sally's near you):

and for a better look at what color my hair is, take a look at my band tshirt ootd:

  • I know ombre hair looks really pretty on wavy hair but I have straight hair and I get very lazy curling it or waving it, will it look like it goes straight from one color to another or will it end up looking like yours, I love your hair!!!

  • @SplashOfBeautyx3 thank you :). and i agree, i think it tends to look better on wavy hair, but i think that, if done properly, it can look really pretty on straight hair as well.

  • what bleach did you specifically??

  • @jesserette11 i use wella, but that can usually only be purchased from stores like cosmo prof, which require you to have a cosmetology license to shop there.

  • What bleach did you use, and where did you get it?
