Why focus on the perceived falsity he was born on Sirius? He is a composer, not an astronomer. We all believe in things others don't. This is an acceptance we make by engaging in society. Also, fuck the interviewer.

Alot of ultra pretentious arseholes on the comments here. Stockhausen makes some good music, but I gotta say he seems like quite elitist. He's just a man, and people who glorify him beyond his music are suckers.

its a great qustion to ask a composer. guys lik johncage or luigi nono would have given a great answer.
