Samuel George Davis, Jr., better known as Sammy Davis, Jr. (December 8, 1925 -- May 16, 1990) was an American entertainer. He was a dancer, singer, multi-instrumentalist (playing vibraphone, trumpet, and drums), impressionist, comedian, and actor. He was a member of the 1960s Rat Pack, which was led by his old friend Frank Sinatra, and included such fellow performers as Dean Martin and Peter Lawford. This song is the theme song from USA TV Series-Robert Blake as Baretta.
ساموئل دیویس جونیور، خواننده، رقاص، موسیقی دان، نوازنده، کمدین، هنرپیشه، یکی از بی نظیر ترین هنرمندان امریکایی در سال 1925 به دنیا آمد. این آهنگ، در میانهء دههء هفتاد میلادی به شهرت بسیار رسید و به عنوان آهنگ متن سریال تلویزیونی «کارآگاه بارتا» انتخاب شد.

It was number 1 in the Netherlands charts.

There was a collage of Baretta fragments which functioned as a videoclip. Of course I was very very impressed with this when I was 6 or 7 and I still like the song as one of my favourites.

Sammy Davis, Jr. was a consummate performer and I loved watching him on TV. He knew how to entertain an audience and was a kick ass singer.
