Digimon isn't like Pokémon, they don't just have one evolution line and that's it. They can become a whole bunch of different Digimon. Take Agumon for example, it has a lot of Champions:

Greymon, BlackGreymon, Tyrannomon, BlackTyrannomon, GeoGreymon, Numemon, Devimon... And more.

@1:20 That part was censored out. In the originals, Marcus's nose bled after he took Biyomon's punch. After you finish watching the english dubs, watch the japanese subs. They are so much better.

Gloom, Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Tyrogue, Wurmple, Kirlia, Snorunt, Clamperl, and Burmy all have mutiple evolutions to choose from.

And Nincada evolves into Ninjask + Shedinja so that too is a branched evolution only you can take them both instead of having to choose.
