After having broken our 1st gear due to launch control, we have successfully repaired & strengthened the transmission with $1,500 parts.

We haven't had a chance to dial-in the car on the current set-up but wanted to get back to the track right away.

We just so happened to set a new record. 10.47@132

@OilersFan2354 your a moron 50k less when you made your comment the gt-r was and is 86k the zr1 ia 100k - 120k depending on options and dealership you went too and for yet less money then a gt-r you can get a z06 with all the performance options and still beat the gt=r at what it was designed for the road course stop hating fanboy and learn your shit the gt-r is a capable machine but not best for the money not by far.

I'm not a hater of the GT-R, I like the car. But I've seen plenty of Camaros and Mustangs running 9 and 10 second quarter miles for far less money than what a GT-R cost. Whats the point in spending that kind of money on a GT-R to go drag racing? The car was designed to be a road course car that handles and breaks great. Just like a Z06 and ZR-1. To much is put on zero to 60 and quarter mile, mean while if you can't drive a much less powerful car will take you on a road course.
