I've never even seen an octet. Though I think it would be amazing to get 8 varsity rowers in one to see what splits we can hit. Just thinking that a good quad can stay with an eight, an octet must be amazing...

@terry31127 I have rowed in an octet as well, they are faster than eights in theory, but not usually since they are used to train new scullers.
