eBay Bluetooth Keyboards for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Review - 720P iPhone 4 Video

This is a very quick review of the new Bluetooth Keyboards appearing on ebay at the moment. They look very similar to the apple version in the ebay listings. Don't be fooled, they are made of plastic but having said that, they do seem to work well and if you're after a cheap alternative, they are worth it.

In any case I couldn't resist and purchased one just to see how it compared to the Apple ones.

Hello BMSWEB, I also purchased one of these ebay bluetooth keyboards. One issue I have with the one I purchased is that if I stop typing it only stays paired with the ipad for maybe 30 seconds at which point there is a delay as it has to reconnect once I resume typing. I am wondering if the keyboard you have does the same thing, perhaps this is an issue with all of these cheap knockoff keyboards?

@havvoc Mine stays paired with the ipad but disconnects if I'm not typing for 30 seconds. All I do is hit the space and its connected again. If it says live and connected from the time you switch it on and you happen to forget to switch off the keyboard, your phone will go flat quickly due to the Bluetooth running continuously. I think this is the reason they do this with the Blue Tooth Keyboards.

How do you charge it? or is it only AAA? thanks

@yupitsdana It only uses AAA Batteries. Nothing stopping you from using Rechargable AAA batteries. Having said that, it came with Cheap AAA batteries already installed and its still going strong. I've actually forgotten it on a few times overnight and its still going.
