  • My ex and I used to get stoned on Sat afternoons and watch Westerns on Sat afternoons. This was one of our favorites along with Judge Roy Bean. What a flashback. Thank you.

  • Brings back memories....

  • i believe the theme was sung by the Ken Darby Singers.

  • Great to see Hugh O'Brien again. Always remember the Buntline Special story.Has anyone got clips or opening credits of Temple Houston, Pony Express, The Californians, The Americans, Union Pacific, Frontier Circus or Jefferson Drum please?

  • When I was little,I thought Wyatt Earp was one of the best of the tv westerns.

  • Wow! Even as a single-digiteer, I thought this tune was a bit maudlin. For years I thought the announcer said "Hugh-o Brian." Now we know Earp was just another drunken gunslinger, but old Hugh-o made him romantic, as was intended. For all you xxx-generian types, show was sponsored by Gold Medal Flour: I thought his badge WAS the gold medal!

  • @undertkr2001 ;-D

  • @mbabist01 Being a tad stoned made it a little more enjoyable. Such plots, such acting, such superior sound, such a crisp picture. You just had to let it flow. Life was good then.

  • As a child and native Arizonian, I faithfully watched the reruns (it was already TV history). But, after watching it again after all these years, all I can say is, "Gag me!"

  • This is my first watch in 50 years.

I remenber this opening scene and music very much.

I wanted to watch this film for long years.

    Thank you.

  • @undertkr2001 my pleasure, those cowboy shows were something werent they, tv today just aint the same, all the best, rob,

  • @robharding1957 Thank you brother for the kind words, That was a period that lasted only a short time but has a place in my soul forever.
