@jawaballs i know its an old comment but i always put 10 death company against them and my death company always walks out all they need is chainswords and bolt pistols and 2 power swords :P

Guys whats so good about howling Banshees??? They're not that good in closequarter combat. My 9 men vanguard squad with Kayvaan shrike slaughter two squads of them. Key armaments four power weapons, three storm shields, one thunder hammer and Kayvaan shrike. Hey Banshee get to attack first but hits and wounds on fives, me just take the first hit with five unsaved wounds availiabe. Then hit them back, hits on fours and wounds on threes with re roll for shrike.. UUUUOOHHH Banshees dead. cost chea

Two things. First of all, Banshees need a farseer giving them support. I dont know the variables in your example, but if your boys got assaulted by 10 banshees, weven without doom, Shrike and 3 or 4 of your vets should have died on the charge. But look at cost. How much does your rock hard Vangaurd vet squad cost with Shrike? When you look at cost, Banshees rock.
