How to drive defensively is to watch your mirror to see if anyone is following too closely that if you were to brake hard you would get hit also maintain your lane and always look and be at least 90% sure it is clear before changing lanes for whatever reason and u should be ok : P

@jayguy173 Racing breaks don't change much, except for Break padding, and break calipers, the smart idea would to be driving more saafer, than driving like a teenager and causing an accident

im a professional driver and a mechanic i have racing brakes and i tail gate people all time not because its not safe but because i can stop hell of alot faster then them
