Z Chorale, by David Beebee

I just wrote this tune, it's a chorale interspersed with bits of improvisation.
Recorded live in one take, no overdubs.
Dedicated to the late great Joe Zawinul.

Hopefully this should be in stereo - my first stereo upload... its taken a while to work out the settings..a crash course in video codecs, what fun!

For any techno synth nerds reading, the main solo synth here is the korg prophecy, which was Joe's main solo synth for his last 10 years (although he did use it mainly to trigger other synths I think). Other sound sources I use here are the Akai Z4 sampler, Nord 2 rack and a Korg MS2000 toy.

Thanks, yes the stereo is a big improvement, I will not go back now! I doubt I shall reload the old ones though, just do some new ones. Plenty more coming!
