@CroRuption Good question. I let my students use a sheet with many of the polyatomic ion names. If you are going to do a lot of chemistry you should probably memorize the most common names.

I love this video, but I got a bit confused on 'Manganese (IV) chromate' during "Writing Ionic Formula" at 3:36. Shouldn't it be Mn2(CrO4)4? What happened to Manganese's charge of 4+? Or is there some exception because this was a Polyatomic example?

@CelestiaMoon The charges would balance however you need to reduce your subscripts. In other words water is H20 not H4O2.
