If you've ever sang in a hardcore band you would know how hard it is to tour damn near constantly and keep your voice.

I suppose Chino sucks too for paralyzing his vocal chords? Vocals are the hardest job in the biz because you can always grab a new guitar, bass, or drum kit when they finally shit out on you but you can NEVER get a new voice box.

@assbacon1 The lyrics suck and that is the bottom line. Makes the band sound like garbage metal. This band needs to ditch the singer and find somebody who can actually sing. There is too many of these bands nowadays who have musicicans who play well but their vocals suck.

Another band that needs a lot of work done. Try singing a chorus a and better yet try singing without trying to scream and sound like the devil or something. I watch so many bands and a lot of them can jam pretty good but their lyrics suck. Its ok to maybe scream a little but try to mix it up a little. Try going with a clean tone at times. Being a one-dimensional metal band is not going to cut it in the long run.

Umm. Sorry I'm confused. Exactly when did I say that Akercocke sounds anything like TDEP. I said that Jason Mendonca is as a good a vocalist (even better in my opinion) than this guy. Check out these two songs please by Akercocke to hear Jasons great Vocals. Verdelet and Scapegoat.

I gave this "legendary" band the benefit of the doubt and listened to a few songs after you hyped it so much. The only thing I could possibly say in response is simply that Dillinger Escape Plan sounds absolutely nothing like them. I suppose they're both generally "metal" bands, but they're completely different otherwise. I honestly thought you were kidding when you said I should compare these vocalists. But you're not, so now I don't know what to think...
