Why would you mix a 25 watt speaker & a 65 watt speaker in the same cab? The 25 watt is going to break up much faster than the 65 watt one. If you run the 65 watt speaker with a lot of power you'll blow the 25 watt speakers.
hey just wondering these speaker cabinets are the ones that bands like BLS , Pantera etc have stacked up behind them and can you plug any amp into these speakers would be great if you could reply.
@WyldeOzzgasm Yes and No, the cabinets are probably the same but there are many different types of speaker that can go in the cabs. The type of speaker makes a big difference to the sound.
Yes you can plug any amp into the cab but valve amps must be plugged into cabinets that have the same impedance as the amp or you can break the amp. The Celstion and Marshall webites have good info about all this stuff.
@hawg427 this is very common in newer cabs. Once your ear gets tired of one speaker it will move over to the next speaker and then back again. Look at the Dr Z cabs

@hawg427 yes, it's a strange combo but it sounds good. I use 2 4x12s now so it's not really a problem
