Before Frankel there were discussions about the validity of `80 era ratings because there were more horses above 120 rating back then in UK than there are now in the whole world, so the problem was early on when they started to assign ratings but you missed the fact that Timeform who has a longer history didn't had this problem and they were the first to attract attention to the official handicappers, so it took a wonder race horse like Frankel so they could put things straight historically

he can take them all at home, but to be regarded as the best of all time, he never left his own home grounds, unlike Black Caviar who travelled and won her race injured and still won against Moonlight Cloud. who destroyed Farhh and Zoffany. ;-)

ratings.....accurate??????? haha dont make me laugh mate, I dont know as much as you do in horse racing, but when you lower ratings of horses that ran in the past, and make excuses, like older horses were treated too kindly in the past, just shows how rigged it is, Obviously they just wanted to catapult Frankel so that he would be rated the worlds best horse of all time, good horse, but the best of all time? LOLS!

Farhh official rating was raised with only 2 pounds after his G1 win. Youre unaware of how to judge a horse against another. Timeform currently has the best rating system in place which measure multiple parameters that allows them to give a accurate ratings based on FACTS

Back to Farhh he was showing signs of top class when coming second to Frankel, Nathaniel and unlucky third to SYT therefore a G1 was knocking at the door

Eagle Frankel beat numerous group one winners. Not just group one winners who have won in Europe. North America, Dubai, Hong Kong and Australia. Come on give a bit of credit.

they are flawed anyway buddy take Hoof it for example, no Group 1 wins and gets a pretty high rating, farhh gets a high rating despite winning just 1 Group 1 race, against nobody horses, and frankel wins a group 1 race, despite competing against horses that haven't won a group 1 race or even competed in them.

My objection was to meaningless comparisons such as the one that you presented. This is a far cry from criticising official ratings, which at least attempt to treat performances with some sort of objectivity, while the sort of nonsense which you present does not.

Black Caviar trained brilliantly by Peter Moody for sprint races. Head and shoulders above any other horse in that division. Same said for Frankel. Forget this we are better than you crap.
