I'm from Canada, and we don't generally have toll booths like this. The first time I visited my friend in Boston, I nearly crapped my pants when I encountered one.

This is why we shouldn't have toll plazas. All our tolls in Vic, Australia are electronic and done by eTag or a Breeze Tag, depending who you set your toll account with.
Get with the times!
