When I press Esc and then press Enter on the bootloader page it doesn't boot from my Mac OS X DVD only a Black Screen comes out and stops there.

What is it cause of?

And you said only use SATA but i'm using IDE is the the cause?

@evilofdarkness89 It's very possible it's a problem with IDE. There are a lot of reasons. It's impossible to diagnose it with such little information. Shoot a video of the screen or take pictures, and then post a detailed message on InsanelyMac's website.

How do I tweak the bootloader, all of my hardware is compatible but I get the same error as Jozeff16. So how do I tweak it??? Reply fast.

@smeelokilo It depends on what boot loader you are using. I'm using Chameleon, the latest version. You'll have to look at those websites for details, depending on the specific boot loader. Chameleon I believe has an interface from inside Mac OS X to change the settings, such as the default OS, time to wait, etc. If not, try OSx86 Tools. It's not in development anymore, though.

do i need to download it for mac or windows to work in logic?

I had a problema when i press enter the black screen starts with a lot of white letters right well the problem is when it get to a point that says appledecrypt: starting... and it staty there how do i fixed it?

i tryed to install osx retail but when i go to disk utility i can not find my drive! how ever i can find it when i add a external drive! do you know why i can not find my internal hard drive when i go to utility???

ok so i bought the mac OS X snow leopard v10.6.3 i tried it on my asus laptop and my i7 desktop from dell

desktop

core i7

ram 4 gb

disk 500 gb

on both the computers i get stuck where is says loading Darwin/x86 the spinning / appears then y stops and only _ starts blinking really fast anybody knows whats wrong
