I been w/ Kaplan for 2 years now. Passed every class I have taken and have a 3.0 grade average and I have problems with Kaplan. The sad thing is I didn't start having problems with them until this year, when I got down to my last 6 classes (it later jumped to 8 - yes they will change grades, credits and classes on you). They're very good for saying they didn't receive paperwork. If you would like to know what happen to me, send me an email and I will tell you. Im already looking for an attorney.

It's not a lie. I was unknowingly signed up for my last few classes, blocked from them, and then charged for them. (I was on the Dean's List for the majority of my time there! It had nothing to do with a lack of applying myself. I gave it my all for almost two years.) When I tried for months to get in touch with someone in the financial aid dept., I was never acknowledged. Now, my credit is scarred and I didn't do anything wrong but enroll at Kaplan Univ. (I wish I could've written more here.)

I have worked for this institution and it is a culture of unrelenting pressure, politics and production, I believe that students have the potential to benefit from their educations at For Profit Universities, however I also believe that education has always been and should remain an exclusionary venture. Not everyone benefits from hard work and cor[orations will always privatize the profits and socialize the risk.

I recently graduated from Kaplan "cum laude" and never had a problem with them at all. A lot of the people who complain are the ones that can't even cut it in school so they blame their lack of effort on others. This is a good school and find this video total nonsense.

I just graduated from Kaplan with 3.5 GPA for IT App development Associate degree and now in my second term for bachelors with a 4.0 so far. Never was enrolled in a class with out my knowledge. As a matter of fact you can change classes at any time and take up to 3 at a time.

Huh? Not kaplan students but signing a petition? LOL That's just dumb. And the courtesy enrolment is made clear to every new student. Hello?? Furthermore, this redhead complain about "debt" ... HELLO!? No one bends a students arms and demands that they take student loans. Students have OPTIOSN - cash, payment plans, TR from job, Military benefits or student loans. its the STUDENT who chooses.

@97j9851 Just want to know if you graduated from Kaplan and if they kept their word and helped you get a decent job afterwards?

The comments written below are submitted by Kaplan Students and Graduates. They are not complaining, rather, they are praising this learning institution for providing them with the education and tools to go far in this world. You can only go far with the education, self discipline and motivation. Seems that most who have complained or blamed universities are merely disgruntled people who expect success to come knocking on their front door. It takes work..
