I can't believe Ella Hooper's not more popular. Ever since Killing Heidi days! I love her voice cos it's not some perfect little pop princess voice just like everyone else. She has her own style and it's not perfect. That's why it rocks. And She's got personallity. Yeah and she's not bad lookin either lol. I hope more ppl are gonna catch on soon and realize how awesome The Verses are. Sad to see Killing Heidi go but I'm glad weve got The Verses. I hope they'll be stickin around for a while.

When I saw a photo of Ella Hooper and her brother Jesse in the Herald Sun newspaper when the band 'Killing Heidi" were in operation on October 2000

I thought that Ella was something that came from outer space. I never got into their music as it was too left wing pop for me as I was a former rythm & blues/rock 'n' roll member of a 60's band. But after I have crossed over to country rock and seeing Ella performing on 'Rockwiz' with Troy Cassar-Daley I became interested in her singing style.

She's on the internet..... shame that. This song is nonsense and Hanson's 10 yr homecoming's got 40 000 more hits than this rubbish. My ears are bleeding, the feral cats mating in the alley is a symphony compared to the ship that went nowhere and 4got to take you with it.... Ship's can't fit in your local weir.... weirdo. @TheKatIsBackAgain um so did you know that Killing Heidi broke up in large part because the way Ella was using her voice was giving her a serious throat condition? So this style suits her voice perfectly because it sustains it. Never mind that she sounds purely beautifully and their talent for lyrics and style is still very much alive.
