  • Hi there,

Still no agreement to sell your arrangement?

I'm following you for about a year now, really want to buy it, it's brilliant!

  • @ToeterDaan88 We're actually in an international competition to try to gain more credibility. Maybe Nintendo will hear us after that ! Wish us best luck !

  • Is the french horn player's hand in his instrument?

  • @smallgiraffe42 huh... of course it is ! ^^

  • @darkromaster

I'm not selling or giving my arrangements because of copyrights owned by Nintendo.

I'm trying to find an editor so that can be possible soon!

  • @darkromaster

    Arranged by myself

  • Please try and find some agreement between you, the copyright holders and, say, itunes so that we can get copies of this... legally... as this music is beautiful and you play it fantastically!

yes its supposed to me. the french horn is a very difficult instrument to keep the right tone for a lot of arrangements. it kind of muffles it, but at the same time gives it a very sweet and enticing tone. its sounds really cool!

  • @chriseliotrumpet Hey there, man. Watched all y'alls videos. Very impressive stuff! I notice this comment is only a month old. I assume no new news since then?

And just out of curiosity, how long ago did you contact Nintendo about the music? Just wondering for myself, as I'm also a musician (tuba!) and know how these things can be.

That being said, I fancy your arrangements a lot (and it'd save me the time of trying to transcribe them by ear!).

    Best,

    Josh

  • @smallgiraffe42 It's the only way to really control pitch and tone with a french horn, mainly due to the fact that it's such a small bore. You lip through partials then use your hand to fine tune your pitch.
