From the DVD "A sense of surrounding and a feeling for place". A series of 12 video clips from around the world with first an objective narration and then a subjective, plot and character based narration to develop children's observational and descriptive skills when talking and writing about setting in their own creative writing. The clips are shown first with sound only, then with sound and vision and then repeated with the two standpoints. This gives the students the idea of how they can incorporate plot and setting to give a more mature perspective to their own writing. The clip shown is of the centre of Milan.
