Yo!! My buddy Bobby stopped by this afternoon and brought his collection of San Dimas guitars. They are so nice I thought I'd put together a quick video on them. I'm also checking out some more Guitar Rig 5 patches. Enjoy!

  • Very nice wind cries mary!

  • @PGgnGTAVC95 Thanks so much!

  • Oh wow....what pickups are in the Blue SD? Seymour duncans i'm assuming? i'm also guessing you recommend these guitars, yeah?

  • @Hotdog40404040404 They all had the Seymour Duncan SH-2 and SH-4 set in them. And hell yeah, I recommend them. I give higher scores to the US ones, the blue one and candy red one at the end. Those were noticeable better than the first one, the Japanese body with the custom neck.

  • Thinking of buying one of these. Polar white style 1 made in Japan. Do you know annything of the quality of the japanese san dimas? The local mucis dealer where i live don't have anny san dimas to try out in their stores. Also, can you get a modern metal sound as well from these guitars? Im an 80's metal fan but i like to play havier stuff from time to time:) Keep it up

  • @swedo88 The first one is a Japanese San Dimas, but it had a custom neck on it, so I don't know how the stock ones play. But I'd assume really good, based on these that I played. I think the US ones are a little nicer. Certainly I liked the paint job better. That blue and red were very deep. I'm sure with a lower tuning they would play the heavier material just fine. The maple is bright enough to keep it from getting too muddy.

  • @PixxyLixxx thanks! I do also appreciate the unfinished necks. I heard the kramer pacer is what the wolfgang/axis necks were modeled after! :p hard part is finding one -.- lol

  • @JgHaverty The necks are different. The Charvel is a touch wider and flatter on the back. The Kramer is a little thinner, but more rounded on the back. They both are unfinished, though, and have that natural feel that I love.

  • @ZackAPack Agreed! I love the Kramer.

  • How does the Kramer compare to the charvel? What are the neck shapes of them?
