www.ProGuitarShop.com - The MI Audio GI Fuzz is a modern take on an old classic (although not a clone of any of the old pedals). On higher settings this has a much more in-your-face tone than the fuzz pedals from the 60's and 70's, while on lower settings it gives tones similar to an OD pedal.

All MI Audio pedals are handmade in Australia with true bypass switching and high grade components, so as you may guess they sound fantastic! Also, all MI Audio pedals come with a full 5 year warranty!

• High Gain silicon fuzz.
• Fuzz generated by a trio of high gain silicon transistors
• Ultimate flexibility with 8 controls (1 internal):
- Fuzz - From nothing to all out fuzz
- Load - input impedance control
- Bias - controls the bias of the 2 transistors
- Body - midrange control
- Tone - Balancing control for highs and lows
- Volume
- Bright switch
- Internal Gain trimmer
• Powder-coated, silk-screened enclosure, measuring only 4.3" * 2.2"
• External DC Jack for power connection

  • does this pedal operate with a wah before it? or does it give that annoying sound

  • That really depends on the type of wah you are using. The RMC wahs have buffers in them to stop the oscillation you're referring to. The MXR 108 fuzz actually puts a buffer in their pedal to be used with any wah

    PGS.

  • sounds like the recording is compressed to me, listen to the volume dip at the very beginning.

  • It's not the recording. It's YouTube. Go listen to the video on our website for high def audio of this clip.

  • My two germanium FF's sound good into cleaner amps, more smooth than my early 90's silicon FF,which sounded splattery and lousy quite frankly...**until** I ran it(fuzz set low, gain high) into some moderate tube overdrive and wow.In that setup the silicon sound was fatter and more complex than the germaniums, which were a bit too polite running into tube overdrive.

In short a splattery, compressed, gated silcon transistor sounds great ON TOP of tube distortion,it's key

  • Where is the trim pot inside? I have one and don't see it??

  • Yeah Andy, burn that witch! :D

  • Rock'n'Rooooaaaallll!!!)))

    I really want it!!!

  • @pantstanker indeed, did u hear them crooked vultures

  • If anyone wants one of these i have one for sale :)

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos What are the amp settings you did for this video review ? Please let me know I have to check something.

  • why can you only use fuzz with 1-coils?

  • could I get a tonebender-like sound with this pedal?

  • some nastier fuzz sounds with the bit knob, this video shows off more of the cleaner sides of it
