Since today is the last day you can skate the banks until 2014, here is some crazy footage of a huge gathering at the brooklyn banks on April 18th 1993. Vinny Raffa somehow, amazingly, got pros and ams from coast to coast to meet here in what was going to be a contest but due to the complete and utter chaos and lack of organization there wasn't one. But, it doesn't look like anyone didn't have any fun! RIP Harold Hunter

@rage0316 Ive never been able to figure it out the song in this. Theres too much noise in it for shazam to pick it up either. Yea, skating back in the early 90s was interesting, a bit of a dark age, but so much stuff changed so fast. Then it all ended with the beginning of xgames, the rest is history. It was a quite a trip. Im glad i got to be a part of all that nonsense lol.
