Great video - but the song is "Augusta" by Dave Loggins. The song "Fanfare" by Yanni is the CBS intro music for the PGA coverage

Player's final round of 64 in 78' is, in my estimation, the most overlooked and underappreciated round in Masters history. It is every bit as good as Jack's 65 in 86'.

I've always been a huge Player fan....his victory in '78 was one of the greatest in history, and hardly ever gets talked about....he did the exact same thing Nicklaus did in '86...come from wayyyy back, shoot a ridiculous final round (Player-64, Nicklaus-65) to become the oldest Masters winner ever

The song is not "Fanfare" by Yanni; that's the normal CBS Golf Music. This song is "Augusta" by Kenny Loggins.

Very interesting.
Player won the Masters three times.
Norman fucked up and lost it three times.

1996 masters- its easy from the armchair position to use words like choke, meldown or anything negative as to the end result. i look at what he did to get to the final day-course record 63 on day 1, held lead thru 3 days of play. he may never have won a masters but he did win the masters of life.

norman was one of the greatest to ever play the game--he brought a flair-excitement to the game that tiger woods could'nt touch with a 10 ft. pole. woods is great but also boring. i can't imagine all those years being stuck with watching davis love and fred couples. thank you g. norman.

Great video....my thoughts ?? yes, Norman was a gentleman but Player was a tough hombre. Both are great champion golfers of course
-
They are both a credit to the game, true gentlemen.
-
I think I'm going to cry for these millionaires wahhhhhh
Geez, how can you say this is Norman's last Master's? When he wins it this year at 54 by beating Tiger in a playoff...he'll play any year he wants :-)

I stand corrected....I should have added the word.."Probably", as I did in the description of this video. Greg has been playing well since the British Open and could play in more "Masters" tourneys in the future. Thanks for your observation.
