Curry is a popular Chinese dish, it is on par with fried rice and chow mein dishes. Most meals are cooked in the same way. Blanch the meat ( or seafood ) so it reach a high temperature, then cook the vegetable and add stock and flavor. Turn down the gas when add curry paste otherwise the past set too quick and the curry will not be smooth.

  • Curry takes quite some time to make. I have 3 vids. on it. 1st step is to deep fry the spice. 2nd is to take the spices out and add flour and then simmer and stir evry noe and then to mix it in.

The reason for this upload is to give people an idea of how the paste is made as oppose to instruction. There must be quite few cook books in this regard. These vids. are free.

  • Hi, thanks for posting .... i was just wondering what he said when cooking the onions and peas, he says add, salt, sugar and ???? Whats the traditional way that the Onion is cut for this dish? It looks in square shape? Is there any curry paste that you can buy that comes close? thanks again xx

  • @blackstudio29 yeah square shape.. I do have a videomon cutting vegetables. You can't buy the curry paste in the supermarket unfortunatley. Again I have three vids. on how it is made. Look through the uploads and they are a very good insight into how chinese food is really cooked in this country ( UK )

    Thanks for watching
