Thanx for the vid. 2 questions. Does Time Machine also backup applications? As I need the software more and most files are not that important. Which leads to the second question. Can we choose which files we want to back up instead of backing up all files? If you have vids for this it'd be great. If not I hope you can take some time to let us know.

@superninja553 USB is used for storing a smaller amount of individual files.If you want to back up EVERYTHING on your computer, you want a hard drive that has more space available on than that on your computer. It's honestly best to have both, since it takes a while for time machine to back up everything. Hope this helps.

but you can use th hd like normaly ore now de hd is only for time machine

So do you now have a full system back up?? So when the hd dies, you can do a full install from the time machine backups?
