I really also love the new commercial this spring (2013) to attract travel to Oklahoma. It has regular people singing this song and shows beautiful scenery and fun and cultural activities. They did a nice job. If I had the money, I'd book an immediate flight there.

By accident;when R&H presented Oklahoma to the producers there was no song called Oklahoma;the producers told R&H you need a song;they went to a nearby school that had a piano and a few hours later they had it.The beginning is fantastic with that feel of a train picking up speed; yes great song.
