It is the year 1968, Dr Robert Morgan wakes up to find a world where everyone else has been infected by a disease that turns them into vampire-like creatures. During the day, he gathers his weapons and goes out vampire hunting and by night he locks himself inside his house. One day he finds a beautiful woman who seems to be disease-free and takes her home; but becomes suspicious when he catches her injecting herself with a serum. She explains that there are others like them who are trying to rebuild civilization; and realizing he has been killing others like her, Dr Morgan vows to find a cure.
