Every day we pass them by. They dodge cars, look for food in the garbage, battle malnutrition and sickness in silence.Perhaps you can say that their story is the same as any poverty stricken person on the street. Also another rising american tragedy is the many who are homeless that became so after becoming pet owners. And they made a decision to hold onto their pets, even as their life became played out in the streets they used to drive on.Owning a home does not make you a good pet owner, and being homeless does not make you a bad pet owner. Judge each only on their merits and actions, and not on their situation. No, being a homeless pet owner is not practical. The traditional homeless shelters will turn you away. But I dont feel that to separate them is either compassionate or humane. We need some alternative to keep them together, these homeless humans and their pets. This is something that we all should be aware of and extend a hand and make a difference in these precious animals and their caretakers lives. Even if it means handing them a little money from you pocket, that would make the biggest difference. It would be one less meal they would have to worry about where it would be coming from. Thanks for viewing and please spread the awareness

If people really care for those poor animals then NO ONE of those pets would be outside... Jee people, is it really that hard to take a dog thats being alone/cold/hungry to your house??If the dog is sick, then take it to the vet.Seriously, i would give my LIFE to these animals. To my opinion, those dogs need to have more life than me. #makeachange
