This is part of a Mel Bay Banjosessions lesson on how to make triplets on the banjo. Mick Moloney showed me this type of triplet which is produced with both wrist and finger movement. Roger Landes later showed me the same thing which he had worked out independently. I call it the McTwist after Mick. As far as I can tell, it is the most common way to produce a triplet on banjo or mandolin.
