These are meant to be AMAZING! Some head-fi'ers are saying that are better than Beyer Dynamics DT990's! They are also extremely comfortable apparently. I am gonna get a pair when they hit the UK.

I never ever of $300 Philips. Philips usually means bad headphones but like Skullcandy, they be good.

I like Philips headphones. I've a had a few cheaper models from them and they always sounded much better than price would suggest, so L1 might actually be my new mid priced can.
