  • only the Hutchinson skyryders from Kansas can play this! watch you tube 1981 whitewater DCI classic. No copies please particularly poor ones like this.

  • @wannaplaytrmptjmu

    I must agree.

  • @VMFA115Starloric even if they were, I don't think they'd use them. Marching with a valved instrument (baritone) is much easier than marching with a slide (trombone). I think it's easiest to use a baritone in my humble opinion.

  • My band director is lead Mello in this song! (The solo at the beginning and end)

  • @McFlury9687 "Baritones also have a brighter sound than the trombone."

Depends on which trombones and which baritones you're comparing. In most cases, trombones are brighter.

  • @euphmmx Baritones also have a brighter sound than the trombone. But yes, i agree with you on classification.

  • @McFlury9687 False. Trombones aren't bugled shaped and that's why they aren't used.

  • @askz9271 as a trombone and baritone player myself, I can tell you that trombones are nearly impossible to control on the field, especially when compared to baritones. It's bad enough that my high school marching band scrapped our trombone section in favor of bari's

  • @VMFA115Starloric actually, there is such thing as a marching trombone. it's like a baritone, but more compact and with a smaller bore

  • I ran a mile with this in my mind . That how inspirational it is to me.
