"To Hell And Back" is a vivid, behind-the-scenes look into the lifes of several rescued abused pit bulls and the process of reaclimating them into the world. The film begins with "Annie Oakley" (a horribly neglected and abused pit bull) She was scheduled to be euthanized and the cameras follow Brandon and his wife ashley into the kill shelter to rescue the young dog. "To Hell and Back" features many celebrity pitbull owners, like Danny and Debbie Trejo(k9 Compassion) and Michael Berryman. These movie stars were already been very involved in working with rescue groups,and speaking out for the protection of abused and helpless animals.This film focuses on many rescued pit bulls all over america, several of Brandons own dogs, and a surprise appearence of several of the "Vick Dogs". The documentary also follows Makaveli, 7, and Chucky (3 dogs confiscated from the property of Michael Vick) through the chaos that surrounded their rebirth into loving situations. Thanks for the video. Im a shelter volunteer and I exercise and socialize pits every time I go. I have never had a problem with any of them. I watch Tia at the ranch and love her attitude. The media is looking for ratings and they exploit any story relating to dog attacks because they are left wing and contribute to Breed Specific Legislation, they're scum just like Vick!

@GaDove the sad thing is that the media is partly to blame for this wonderful breed getting in the wrong hands. the media often reports pit bull attacks but then you find out later that the "pit bull" was actually a different breed but the words pit bull attack sell more papers and get higher tv rating than akita attack or german shepard attack. then the irresponsible people hear that pits r tough and go get one and then mistreat and the dog fights back and the media reports it... vicious cycle

Love these dogs. Save the pit bulls, the victims of dog fighting. Got to stop this nasty business. How hard is it to torture and kill a defenseless animal that gives unconditional love and cannot get away from abuse or death? Thank goodness for these amazingly compassionate people who saved them and rehabilitated them. These dogs have so much love to give after the hell they have been through. Dog fighters are the ultimate cowards and sadists. Put them in prison for a long time.
