Thank you for settling that for me. I'm in Taiwan right now, and I came close to buying natto and taking it with me to a stinky tofu vendor for a comparison. Now I don't have to!! Haha. Yuck. :/ I usually have to hold my breath when I walk by a stinky tofu stand. So gross.

I'm kinda curious as to the horrorific things they do in China, and if they do the same in Taiwan. . . Especially at the stands that run when the cops come. =_=

@oddspongeout I'm glad this video helped you out :) That's pretty scary with the stands that run when cops come. I'm sure Taiwan is much better than China. I heard some pretty messed up thing that happen in certain parts of China still. Like, maybe if you go to a rural place in inner China, their stinky tofu might still use the original ingredient: horse piss. >_<

I like natto :) I had two of my coworkers try natto and they were grossed out haha. Never had stinky tofu... Not sure I want to after watching your video lol

@TonicBlade Haha, oh ya? That's great. Ya I actually had 3 of my coworkers try it, all white, and they all said either it wasn't bad or "pretty good". I was very surprised. I put it out for snacks as a joke too, lol.

@yuichituba That's funny. Must have made the room smell like natto when you put it out for a snack. Got the opposite with my coworkers and they are white too heh. My boss wouldn't even try it :( . But I'm white and I like natto and actually so does my mom when I made her try it. I guess it just depends on the persons taste and how you make it too. When I first got it the smell was @_@ ugh. But you get use to it.

@TonicBlade Ya that's true. They were saying that it kinda tastes like coffee, which I can see now. It took me 20 years to like natto.

I never tried stinky tofu, but Natto is not to bad.

You don't wanna know how stinky tofu really is made. They ferment tofu with not only with urine but also manure glazed with pesticide to prevent maggots.
