Bangkok Street Market, Soi 5 Silom

Soi 5 Silom runs along side of The Bangkok Bank on Silom Road (a 7 / 11 store on the corner). It is very lively, particularly around lunch time and at the beginning and end of the business day.
At lunch time office workers from nearby buildings flood to the area for lunch in one of the many open air, casual food courts.
The numerous stalls sell just about anything but particularly clothes and household items.
It is well worth a look for a slice of ordinary Thai life in the middle of Bangkok's business district.

Take the BTS to Chong Nosi and then cut back through the narrow lanes toward Silom Road.

私も現地のマーケットを歩くのが好きでタイではマーケットばかり­行っていました。

でもこの光景が近年では大手　信人のスーパーナーケット等に変わってきており時代の流れを感じ­ておりましたがこのビデオは私のみたい部分を良く撮して下さって­おりました。
