Whoever wrote the description is an idiot. Hes obviously not better than green or jones... hes a JUCO transfer for a reason. As far as crabtree goes... ever heard of a system quarterback? Crabtree is a system wideout... a lot of WRs would prosper in an offense that is 85% pass in a conference that is completely void of defense. Im not saying his numbers arent ridiculous or even that he wont have a great pro career...but his system and conference inflate his stats

Going to JUCO means one of two things, D-1 didnt want you or you were too stupid to qualify, thats what it has to do with. Why did he break the records as a freshman? because he has a good qb who throws the ball 50 times a game, and about 15-20 of those throws go his way because hes the best WR on the team. Thats the system. What is Surrencey doing this season? Green is freshman leading the SEC in receptions and yards

He needed exposure cause his team didnt pass alot. Obviously he had medicore grades too but schools like LSU and Ole Miss recruit kids with 55 averages. And Surrency has only played 4 games where as Green and Jones played every game.

And Texas Tech never had a QB who passed 50 times and they never had a #1 WR before? They had all that but they never had Michael Crabtree. He reinvented the system as a freshman

And crabtree didnt reinvent any system, that system is the same it has always been, they just have a 3 year starter at qb who runs the system very efficiently and one big play receiver who gets 20 balls thrown his way per game. Crabtrees stats are huge and hes gonna be a big time pro, but his stats dont mean anything. Its just like colt brennan at hawaii, after a few years hes efficient and stats are huge but when his team plays a real defense, that offense doesnt look so unstoppable.
