  • Does the finish significantly affect the sound? If so, in what way? I'm thinking about buying this cymbal vanilla, and if I don't like the sound, would Saluda be willing to put a different finish on it (for a fee, of course) or trade up?

  • Finish does not affect the sound at all. Saluda will make any sound adjustments free of charge. Finish changes, however, have a fee. I think it's $16.

  • Reminds me alot of the A Custom sweet ride

  • @JasonDTube Just curious, how many did you give and what did you get?

  • Awesome. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

  • If you're interested in Saluda, go ahead.

  • i gotta bunch of cybals i could sell to them

  • I gave my old Sabian B8s in exchange for Saludas.

  • didyou trade in saluda cymbals or like zildjian/sabian etc..

  • It's all cool. Go to the Saluda Cymbals website, and talk to the owner, he can cook you up a perfect sounding ride cymbal. 22" cymbals cost around $200, mine was only $100, but because I got a discount and I traded in cymbals to lower the cost.
