Those sounds that you talk about now dominate alot of the DECENT hip hop and r&b (the stuff you don't hear on FM radio). Miles was ahead of his time. "On The Corner" and even the 1970's music (referring to Mike Henderson) shows you how far ahead Miles was even then (repetive bass lines and grooves) which dominate black music today still. BAM!!
