who makes the cams for that motor? i know its an HKS motor, but if they are HKS cams, whats the size??

@gixxeracer 280IN/290EX 11.5lift Apexi SPL cams, no longer available, (same head that was in Apexi drag R33 GTR that ran 7s in USA)

Sounds like they could use some higher gearing. Its almost as if they run out of usable RPM before they shift.

I bet a good set of 3.54 or 3.39 would be lovely.

@rh9endless Kinda sounds like its geared for a hill-climb or something. Youd probably get a bit more speed if the engine was loaded a bit longer inbetween shifts.

What final gear ratio are you running?

This was the last HiDeck engine, which we got the last parts from HKS Racing. Now were working on R35 GTR also, but love will always be RB26 inspired machines, however have to say R35 GTR, what a car.......

At a proper drag strip this thing would be a weapon, Central Circuit is a track not a strip, they are racing down the main straight.

Would be interesting to see what kind of times it would run on a well maintained strip, good car.
