In a place where money grows on trees, arranged marriages aren't just in vogue - they're mandatory. In order to defeat the system, new money Chuck Bass and high society Blair Waldorf must learn to face their demons, their parents...and each other.

I got such a wonderful response from the trailer I did for Noirreigne that I thought the time was ripe for one of my own. Anyone who knows me will know that I'm currently writing 'The Fire Below' (a Chair historical set in the Victorian period), but once that is finished 'The World Is Silent Here' will begin almost immediately. I was enthralled by the idea of the power play which still exists between the great and good (i.e. the wealthy), and the deals which are brokered which, believe it or not, do include marriages arranged practically from birth; Jane Austen, eat your heart out.

Oh, and the song was a little challenge I set myself to see whether I could make a football song about something...well, something a little unlike football!
