i think theres something wrong with ur dog BUT UR CAR LOOKS SWEET
-
nope as still in the tweeking stage. just change the suspension oil to 50wt .much much better. no bottoming out
-
@roasty80 The original shocks are alright but i want to replace mine because the top shock cap keep coming off, not breaking but falls off and all the oil comes out. Has this happened to you?

Haha your dogs loving that. Sounds like your cars bottoming out . Mine does that. Am gonna upgrade the shocks

@RCDriftMad It is a good car, I think it is most suited for on-road use really, I have raced on carpet and it has done really well (foam tyres), I also used it on concrete (rubber tyres) which it also ran well. But on grass its no so good, it needed good tyres to have much grip, it would run well if it had big pin-like tread but that would wear out quickly if used on concrete! it would be best to have a bigger 2wd or a 4wd car for going on grass. But the mad rat is a great car and reliable!!

The traxxas are great. Major improvement over tamiya plugs. More boost
The deans do the same thing. Both are high current connectors. I just liked the quility
Of the traxxas.
Had a right game getting the diff set . Just got it sweet and ive stripped the spur gear by using too large a pinon. Got a replacement on order.
Hows yours running?

@roasty80 i haven't had any problem with the diff or spur gear because i had someone set it up at the club i go to. the only problem is that it a bearing had developed a squeak i don't think it is on the video but a it hasn't affected the performance and i am sure that a bit of lubracant will sort it. (it is fully ball raced)

Havent experienced that yet with the shocks. Havent had a good run with it yet, speedo shorted and battery tamiya plug melted
Have ordered traxxas plugs as read everyone uses them without problems
Ive also ordered 60 weight shock oil to stiffen the shocks up
