Bosnia - Children of War, Children of Peace

The scars of the 1992 civil war in Bosnia remain. But hear of the hope that young people of the New Jersey Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America experience working among the children of Bosnia. Since 2000 they've been hosting summer day camps in Bosnian schools and orphanages.

I think you are exceedingly ignorant mr. meinherz3. I am one of those travel team members, in fact I'm in this video, and I would like to point out that our mission there had nothing to do with religion. In fact, part of our mission parameters even states that we are NOT CHANGING THEIR RELIGION! We did not wear crosses and we did not mention religion at all. And exactly what are you doing to help people around the world? Ranting negative comments on a Youtube video. I hope you can sleep at night

Ah, here we go. You can find this in any war zone or impoverished areas in the world. These supposedly good Samaritans descend like bees to spread their religion. These are evangelicals. Soon there will catholics and serb orthodox and islamists. Where were they when these people really needed them, during the war to support them. I wonder how they feel no shame to claim they are good people, men of god , come to help, while they were in their chairs at home when bosnians were being massacred
