Sportscene goal of the season from 82/83 season. Goals from Gordon Strachan, Kenny Dalglish, Brian Rice, Ralph Milne, Eammon Bannon, Charlie Nicholas, Eric Black, John Wark, Richard Gough, Paul McStay. No idea where goal I went? Answers on a postcard.

Aaaah the memories of it being £1 to get into parkheid, if you didnt get a lift that is! And the box-set strips only cost about £8. Yes football clubs need the money,But it is money what has ruined football.

Used to love watching Sportscene on a Saturday night - now honestly I couldn't care less. These goals don't need a slick soundtrack to them either - just Archie's dulcit tones. All the teams and grounds had such character back then. It's all gone so wrong.

All of these are really great goals, and i remember them very clearly as if they were from just a few years ago. Great stuff.

Rangers never needed to shoot from distance, pass and move the object of the game, we were the Arsenal of then.

Notable that Rangers only featured with goals scored against them! We really were shite in those days - better days for Scottish football though
