It has now been over 47 days since the Protect America Act expired. As a result, Democrats have left America at significant risk and potentially blind to new terrorist plots. Our intelligence agencies have lost critical tools that protect our national security and keep us safe at home.

How long will it be until the Democrats answer the call of the American people and stop leaving this country at risk?

  • uh... only white people like you.

  • Numerous terrorism attempts have been thwarted by various US agencies since 9/11.

The intelligence from some came for interrogaion, some others from wire taps.

    Look it up.

    There have been attempts.

Try to know a little something about what you are talking about other than just repeating the propaganda spin you have heard from the DNC.

  • Pobrien ur an idiot!!!! Just another liberal nancy boy!!!!

  • SPEAK FOR YOURSELF

  • Many Americans have forgotten 9/11 and reverted back to their self absorbed lives content with blaming bush for all of life's problems...

With another 9/11- or worse- people will remember how glad they were to have a republican president who wasn't afraid to use military force and other methods to fight this enemy.

If Gore were president during 9/11, we'd still be determining the environmental damage of two planes hitting the WTC towers. Those who died would be an after thought...

  • Tom Cole: Here's two things I want you to remember when doing attack ads!

Don't use the term "Democrat"! That's an offensive word to those on the line Democratic voters.

Don't use the voice prompt of a business! It sounds like something that you are showing an example of your President and his administration. The answering machine that White House and President Bush is currently using.

And lastly, to add flavor: NO MORE ATTACK ON REV. WRIGHT! No more fear and race-baiting tactics.

  • pretty lame.

  • If this is the best the NRCC can do, they're in trouble. Bush is the one who is blocking renewal of the legislation, because he refuses to sign any bill that doesn't shield the big telcom companies for their illegal bugging.

  • fear mongers.

we've had no threats since 9/11. a hurricate wiped out new orleans, and a bridge collapsed... but that was the fault of the US government, not terrorists.

  • These Republican hacks actually expect us to believe the country has been unprotected for over 47 days. Everyone knows this bill is just an attempt to shield Bush from the law. What a bunch of jackasses.
