  • They really should ban all private boats from leaving and entering the harbour whilst carriers come in and out.

    Its something that will have to be done once the large new carriers are built, so they need to get better systems / security in place.

  • I agree, but we were told by the harbour master (as we were approaching the entrance) that they would be closing the harbour entrance to other craft to allow the carrier to come through. We made it in time, hence the chance to take the video. It appears however that they decided not to enforce the closure. In fairness, all the private vessels you see are within the small boat channel and not the main fairway.
