As part of Alaskarma, a Morton's List event, The SuperiCore group journeyed to Anchorage, Alaska. There, they began a documentary of underground Detroit area rappers, starting with the legendary Danny K, now calling himself Danny K.A.E, now living in the Last Frontier. After picking up Mr. K.A.E., we relocated to Golden Corral, for an all-you-can buffet.

After gorging on delicious buffet-style food, interviewer Tall Jess presented his Questions to the pioneering white rap icon. What followed was an insight into the history and spirit of Hip Hop, and a demonstration of techniques that left everyone stunned.

Just.

Stunned.

  • This guy is an old school Detroit Hip Hop LEGEND!!!!!!

  • And I quote,

"Claim off Hip Hop leadership, 100% true, Em and K-Rock and KRS1, all learned all their stuff from him."

This from an anonymous source, to be accurately described as a multi-millionaire, former hip hop label president and one of the country's leading experts in Detroit hip hop, who's worked with Kid Rock and is intimately familiar the works of every rap artist mentioned in this video.

    Just reporting the facts.

  • thanks. still no luck though lol. (i only have like 3 tracks) i heard of him through j when i was a kid and i only heard the one over the BDP beat. i think it was like knowledge reigns supreme or something on that tip. ever since then i got big into genre parody, eventually making my own music with serious intent. i think people like this are so inspiring on so many levels.

someone like danny kae, that my boy found on soundclick is "the god diety infinite" and i was floored! check him out lol

  • @southcott1432

I remember back in the day me and buddies traded mad tapes. Im sure some of us even remember sitting beside the radio waiting to hit record when "THAT" song came on. If your lucky you can sometimes even find his shit online (there's a few youtube clips of his songs but they dont really count you'll see what i mean if u find em)I actually have some of his tracks on cd. THE BASS IS THE RYTHM THAT ROCKS MY SHOW WITHOUT IT THE PARTY PEOPLE WOULDNT YELL HOOOOO

  • @southcott1432

Most of the prob people have with finding his shit is the name. Alot of people spell it Danny K, or Danny Kay, But its spelled Danny KAE the AE is a little known fact that he spits at the end of this video Danny K Always Excelling = KAE. But yes why do you think kid had to get in touch with another rapper for his catalog. The only way you could get his shit was through trades. Back in the day when cassette was popular homies used to make mixtapes for other homies

  • in an effort to get schooled, how the FUCK can i get this guys stuff?

i dont know where to download OR buy... WHY!!!!

    lol, please help me out
